Celebrating Matariki
What a wonderful celebration for our Matariki day: a traditional Maori 'boil up' (thank you Mr Clark!!), Rakau sticks and songs, Reader's Theatre Matariki, the stories of Matariki on U-tube, feathers for our Korowais, card games, learning about Matariki with a buddy.
Looks like you all had an awesome day. A heap of learning is going on in Room 3 and I know how hard you are all working together. Keep up the good work. I'm sure Mr Clark really enjoyed his day.
