Eggs

In the last few days Room 3 has been learning about the science of eggs....that they have 3 parts..shell/membrane, yolk and white. We can separate the parts of an egg. Each part has different observable properties, and most changes we make to eggs cannot be reversed.

We predicted what would happen when the yolk and white are beaten together, what would happen when the yolk is beaten on its own, and what would happen when the white is beaten on its own.

Naomi's Baptism

On Friday Room 3 and the whole school celebrated with Naomi and her family as Naomi was baptised, welcomed into the family of God. Fr Pat explained Baptism in a way we could all understand. Congratulations Naomi.....we will miss you while you are in Tonga for a few months.

Happy birthday Nichole!

What a lucky day for Room 3 - Nichole's Mum came to school with two 'divine cakes' for us to share with Nichole for her birthday on Saturday ..... yum!  The staff scored a cake too!!  Thank you to Nichole and her kind Mum and Dad!  Happy birthday Nichole from all your friends in Room 3!

PE

What a beautiful  afternoon to participate once again in Syndicate P.E. Our aim is to play a soccer game or uni-hock game at the end of our 'skills sessions' every Thursday afternoon this term.

Drama

As the photos show Room 3 is thoroughly enjoying our Tuesday drama lessons. In the second lesson we learnt how to move in slow motion, finishing up with freeze frames.

Resurrection crosses

We enjoyed talking about and illustrating signs of the Resurrection. Donna cut them out for us and pasted them on our beautiful Resurrection  crosses. Thank you Donna! We so appreciate you in our classroom on a Monday morning.

Assembly

Assembly today....Erika received this weeks Duffy book for being a great Sacred Heart Way example in his desk group, Ariana the certificate for Term 2's Value - Respect/Equity - for her friendliness to all her classmates and Neo the certificiate for Term 2's Key Competency - Literacy - for quick thinking in Numeracy problems. Well done all of you!!

Health
