Last day of drama :( /Reading/Science fun!

Room 3 enjoyed our last Tuesday of Drama but we are sad to say goodbye to Anne and Michelle .... thank you so much !!  We used the drama techniques 'Fast Forward' and 'Freeze-frame' to tell a story which showed that bullying is not okay!!

Mrs Sleeman really enjoyed our story in reading time 'The Last Straw'!  Ariana's 'Dear diary...' entry on Monday about her brothers playing pranks on her, fitted in very well with this story!!!

Anne and Sjahn ... you have reached 25 nights reading ... well done!!

This afternoon we boiled water in a saucepan and keeping the temperature near boiling placed 5 eggs in  the saucepan and observed their contents as we took each egg out after 2 minutes, 4 minutes, 6 minutes, 8 minutes and 10 minutes.  We recorded our observations. Neo and Mikayla tasted the 6 minute egg, Nichole and Rudie the 8 minute egg and Darragh and Scott the 10 minute egg!  Yum! Yum!!

Three lovely things in Room 3 today ...... Afa's birthday .... happy birthday to you!  Jaedyn's kindness ... making cards and a gift for his classmates. Cooking pancakes with maple syrup for our Science topic, 'Eggs' !!!  What a great day!!
