Safety in the water
This week at Kings Swim School we were lucky to learn about safety in the water. To make this lesson more realistic we had to dress in ordinary clothes over our normal swimming gear, so we could understand the challenge of surviving in clothes. Our instructors taught us how to tread water, how to help those in difficulty out of the water, how to pull in a boat using a rope, how to enter a life boat, and how to leave a life boat that was in danger of sinking, safely. We were quite nervous about some of the activities but the instructors were very good and reassured us. All of us achieved the tasks. Well done Room 3!
